Our Organization

LAHA receives national recognition by USA Hockey for being one of 46 youth hockey associations out of 1400 across the nation for significant growth in the 8 & under age division and requested information from our organization about how we were accomplishing this.

USA Hockey's 2010-2011 8 & under membership report, found on USA Hockey's website, states Oregon has posted 2 consecutive years of overall growth. The report announces that LAHA is number one in Oregon's 2010-2011 association performance by meeting the 2 & 2 challenge.

Our Youth Players

LAHA sent the below listed player to represent LAHA and the State of Oregon at District Selects:

LAHA players advancing to National Development Camps:

Nikki Friesen advanced to the National Training Development Camp and is now playing for the Colorado Select U19 AAA girls team.

Justin Stoner and Connor Hoernlein were selected for the Kent State Festival Team.

Our Coaches

Flint Doungchak was selected as the head coach of the Pacific District Kent State 14 team and was also announced as the State of Oregon Coach in Chief.

Our Alumni

Sean Woodring is a 2011 graduate from Franklin Pierce University. While at Franklin Pierce Sean played a forward position in their Division 3 hockey program. Sean skated with LAHA's Midget Team prior to playing for the Eugene Generals Junior A Team.

Dylan Woodring, a past LAHA Midget goalie player will begin his second academic year at Nichols Collage. Prior to leaving for Nichols Dylan played starting goalie for the Eugene Generals Junior A Team.
